LifeGroups at T.W.C.
At Trenton Wesleyan Church, we believe that life is done in fellowship with our neighbours. LifeGroups create space for people to intentionally share in this fellowship, grow spiritually, and encourage one another through every season. Through meaningful relationships and shared faith, LifeGroups help us live out the community Christ calls us to beyond Sunday morning gatherings.
For any questions about Life Groups at Trenton Wesleyan Church, Pastor Andrew would love to help!
LifeGroups: FAQs
LifeGroups create a space for people to intentionally share their lives with others, grow spiritually together, and encourage each other through the highs and lows of life. A LifeGroup Leader determines how often their group meets and what the focus is. LifeGroups gather in homes, coffee shops, and other places where people love to connect—including online or through the Bible App.
- Bible study & discussion: Digging deeper into Scripture, drawing from the Sunday sermon, study book, devotional guide, or other material
- Prayer: Sharing needs and praying for one another.
- Fellowship: Building relationships, supporting one another, and bonding through common interests
- Accountability: Walking together in spiritual growth, being honest about struggles and victories.
- Mission: Serving the community together or inviting others into the group.
Every LifeGroup is unique. Some discuss the weekend message or Christian books, some complete Bible Plans in the YouVersion Bible App together, some serve together in the community, and some play board games or go fishing once a month. Two things you’ll find in every LifeGroup, though, are relationships and conversations that help people grow in their faith.

First, give yourself a high five for taking the step to join a LifeGroup! Here are several easy ways to get connected:
Visit our Welcome Centre for all information about the LifeGroups currently offered at our church. You can also talk to any of our staff or volunteers, who can direct your question to the right person.
Find a LifeGroup near you or one that suits your interests by using our website
Talk to someone you know who leads a LifeGroup and ask if their group is open to new members.
Absolutely! It’s understandable to want to find people you feel comfortable opening up to and developing friendships with. That being said, if you’ve joined a LifeGroup and aren’t sure if it’s the right fit for you, don’t give up! There’s no such thing as a perfect LifeGroup because there are no perfect people. Remember to have grace and patience during the process. If it’s clear that this group isn’t the best fit for you, though, give another group a try.
